Domestic additions accounted for 41GW, while overseas markets contributed 45GW, driven by policy incentives: the EU's 2030 200GW storage target and the U.S. IRA Act's 10% extra subsidy for long-duration storage . User-side storage showed exceptional performance, with 11.3GW added domestically (+230% YoY), as commercial users in Guangdong and Jiangsu achieved 3.5-year payback periods through peak-valley arbitrage .
